General English Summer

Summer is an awesome time to study English in Whistler. When not in class, students can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, camping and much more!

Classes start every Monday and are purposefully small, with no more than nine students per class for maximum learning and more student-teacher time. Lessons combine the main language skills of grammar, conversation, reading and writing with creative, fun projects, often using the outdoors as an extended classroom.

Teachers are university educated, highly qualified and athletic individuals, who participate in a wide range of activities with students, including rock-climbing, bouldering and BBQ’s at the lake. The welcoming ‘family’ feel and the school’s unique integrated approach enable a fluid, easy learning experience without strict textbook confines.
