I had a great time with people from all over the world. I also could get a feel for the Hospitality Industry from the classes.
English Course Winter
IH Whistler's winter program is designed for students to get the maximum mountain experience. The staggered schedule of 3 to 4 hours class-time per day enables students to rotate study and recreation time, providing a chance to get fresh powder turns at least two or three times a week.
English Course Content
Classes with a maximum of nine students provide lessons in the major language areas:
- Grammar
- Conversation
- Reading
- Writing
Optional daily tutorials are available to work on specific skills such as grammar or writing. The school’s enthusiastic, energetic and highly trained teachers combine their love of teaching English and sport, and regularly lead extra-curricular activities such as indoor rock-climbing or cross country skiing. Ski/Snowboard instruction and/or Ski/Snowboard instructor courses are also available at reduced rates for IH students.
